The Fault in Our Stars
This screen adaptation of John Green's 2012 young-adult bestseller about star-crossed teens who meet at a cancer support group opens with an apologetic declaration that what follows will not be sugar-coated fiction but harsh reality. The Fault in Our Stars has received highly positive reviews from critics. The New York Times' review of the book called it "a blend of melancholy, sweet, philosophical and funny" and said that it "stays the course of tragic realism", while noting that the book's unpleasant plot details "do nothing to diminish the romance; in Green’s hands, they only make it more moving."
Yup! Kepopuleran The Fault in Our Stars memang tidak bisa dipungkiri, baik novel dan movienya sudah menjadi bestseller di berbagai penjuru dunia, dan aku adalah salah satu dari penggemar kisah romantis ini. Alur ceritanya sendiri tidak membosankan untuk ukuran film bergenre romantis yang kebanyakan menurut pendapatku agak membosankan. I am not really fond of about romantic movie.

Albumnya benar-benar diisi oleh single yang terasa pas banget music dengan filmnya, Ed Sheeran and Birdy, two of my favorite singer ever! Ed Sheeran and Birdy knows his way around a heartbreaking love song, so it's no surprise he's got a track on the Fault in Our Stars soundtrack. Ed Sheeran membawakan lagu yang berjudul All of the Stars, sementara Birdy menyanyikan 3 lagu dalam album ini, yaitu Not About Angels, Tee Shirt dan Best Shot.
